Refund Policy

Refund Policy

At Foreign Exposure Tours, we are committed to providing excellent travel experiences while maintaining transparent policies to ensure your satisfaction. Below is our Refund Policy, designed to clarify the terms under which refunds may be processed.


1. General Refund Terms

1.1. Refunds will be processed exclusively into the same account from which the original payment was made.
1.2. All refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@foreignexposure.co.za, including your booking reference, proof of payment, and reason for the request.


2. Cancellation by the Customer

2.1. Cancellations Made More than 60 Days Before the Tour:

  • 80% of the total booking amount will be refunded, less a [specify fee, if applicable] administration fee.

2.2. Cancellations Made Between 30 and 60 Days Before the Tour:

  • 50% of the booking amount will be refunded.

2.3. Cancellations Made Less than 30 Days Before the Tour:

  • No refunds will be provided unless under Exceptional Circumstances (see Section 6).

3. Cancellation by Foreign Exposure Tours

3.1. If we cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances:

  • Customers will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule.
    3.2. Refunds will not be provided for cancellations caused by force majeure events such as natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions, except as South African law mandates.

4. Non-Refundable Items

4.1. Deposits for specific services (e.g., accommodations, transport) may be non-refundable if explicitly stated at the time of booking.
4.2. Third-party services booked on your behalf are non-refundable.


5. Amendments to Bookings

5.1. Changes to confirmed bookings may incur additional non-refundable charges.
5.2. Any refunds resulting from amendments will be calculated based on the original cancellation policy.


6. Exceptional Circumstances

6.1. In cases such as medical emergencies or bereavement, refunds may be considered at our discretion.
6.2. Supporting documentation (e.g., medical certificates) must be provided.


7. Processing of Refunds

7.1. Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days.
7.2. Refunds will be made directly to the same payment account used during the booking.


8. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of South Africa, including the Consumer Protection Act (CPA). Customers may escalate disputes to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud if needed.
